A simple but satisfying carrot dish full of flavor that is both salty and sweet. These carrots are loaded with garlic, butter and a tad of raw honey.
KITCHEN ITEMS YOU'LL NEED
Glass, Stainless or Stone cutting board (Avoid using plastic or wood cutting boards to avoid mold, bacteria or plastic toxins coming in contact with your food)
Kitchen knife
INGREDIENTS
1 (2lb) bag of Organic Carrots
2 Tbsp 100% pure Olive Oil (See my list of 100% pure brands of olive oil. 95% of all bottled olive oil in stores are mixed with other inflammatory oils)
4 Tbsp grassfed butter. If you prefer the nuttier taste you can sub out the grassfed butter for 4 Tbsp of ghee (clarified butter).
2 Tbsp raw unfiltered honey
1 whole organic garlic clove (minced)
1 tsp organic parsley (either fresh or dried)
1/4 tsp celtic sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Rinse carrots
Using your cutting board and knife cut carrots at an angle.
Place carrots in a 13x9 or similar baking dish.
Evenly distribute all of the remaining ingredients over the carrots.
Quickly blend and incorporate all of the ingredients together in the baking dish.
Place the baking dish in the oven for only 10 minutes to allow the honey and butter to melt together.
Pull out your dish from the oven and stir up the carrots making sure all of the spices, garlic, butter, oil and honey are evenly coating each carrot piece.
Bake carrots for 28 minutes.
Remove baking dish and using a fork insert the fork into the carrots to make sure they are soft. If they are not soft put it back in the oven for an additional 10 minutes or until the carrots come out soft.
