Diet and Detoxification
From 2009-2010 I was exposed to high levels of Stachybotrys, Chaetomium, Aspergillus, Penicillium, Wallemia and Cladosporium in a home that I rented.
From 2011-2013 I went through 2 long and grueling years of mold detox to save my life. In 2013 I started the website SurvivingToxicMold.com and created the original "Mold Detox Diet".
The original Mold Detox Diet was created gathering scientific information from my research about mold, mold toxins, food toxicity and some basic information from my holistic practitioners that helped guide me through my healing process.
There was no official "Mold Diet plan" until I created the "Mold Detox Diet" in 2014. There was more of a demand throughout the years for recipes, guides, lists and a community that I decided to rebrand the original "MoldDetoxDiet" to create 8 proprietary phazes that helped me heal the most. This new-redesigned diet was named PhazeMoldDiet in 2020.
It's my goal to share recipes that are not only Mold Detox-compliant but that also look and taste delicious as well.
