Carrots and Green Beans

This is a simple and easy recipe that everyone will love. Be sure to make extra because even though it seems quite simple you'll want to eat more than you originally had a craving for. This recipe can also be frozen for up to a year!! so another great reason to make extra.




SUPPLIES YOU'LL NEED



INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Lb fresh organic green beans

  • 4-6 large organic carrots

  • 1 clove organic garlic

  • 4 Tbsp of 100% pure organic Olive Oil

  • 1/4 t celtic sea or himalayan salt


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Rinse green beans, garlic and carrots in clean filtered water. (Do not use tap water with chemicals and chlorine)

  2. In the large bowl fill it half full with filtered water and add the 1/4 t of baking soda. Rinse the vegetables in the baking soda solution and remove them.

  3. Cut and snap the green beans. (See my cut and snap directions here)

  4. Using the cutting board slice the carrots and mince garlic.

  5. Place the frying pan on the stove top on med heat.

  6. add the olive oil to the pan.

  7. Drop in the garlic and spices and saute for 1 minute.

  8. Add green beans and carrots and using the silicone spatula, incorporate the olive oil and spices into the vegetables well.

  9. Stir vegetables every 3 minutes and cook for about 12 minutes or until they are as soft as you'd like them to be.

  10. Serve

FREEZING

Cooked vegetables can be frozen in glass/bpa freezer storage containers. Do not store leftovers in refrigerator to avoid fungal growth.
