16 Veggie Garden Salad

This salad includes a wide variety of different vegetables and 2 fruits. This is a great salad to expand your nutritional intake.


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 c organic spinach

  • 1c organic parsley

  • 1c organic field greens

  • 1c organic broccoli chopped

  • 1/2 c organic chopped celery

  • 1/2 c organic purple cabbage chopped

  • organic red bell pepper

  • organic orange bell pepper

  • 1/2 organic roma tomato (omit the tomato if you are in Phaze 4 ONLY) otherwise they are ok in moderation in Phaze 3. Phaze 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 and 8 you may consume tomatoes freely).

  • 1/4 c sliced zucchini strips (we use a grater)

  • One sliced radish

  • 1 sliced organic carrot

  • 1/2 small organic cucumber

  • 1/4 c sliced beet strips (we use a grater)

  • 1/2 organic avocado

  • Sprouts of your choice (optional).

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Rinse your fruits and vegetables in a large glass or stainless steel bowl by filling the bowl halfway full with filtered water and add one teaspoon of baking soda.

  2. Using your cutting board and knife cut, slice and dice your vegetables how you like to eat them.

  3. Arrange them in an artful way (like the photo) or simply throw them in and make a tossed salad to save on prep time.

This salad is best made fresh but it can also be made earlier in the day for evening consumption.
