Anti-Inflammatory Golden Milk

Golden Milk is also known as “Turmeric Milk”.  This magical bedtime milk has some very important benefits such as supporting the immune system, cough and cold support, relieving digestive problems, cleans the liver, purifies the blood, clears the skin, aides in auto-immune disease symptoms, great for headaches and body aches like joints and bones, supports women’s reproductive health, aids in sleep disorders and even has anti-cancer properties.

This drink is easy and quick to make and tastes surprisingly good.  The coconut milk takes most of the bitter flavor out of turmeric. If the idea of the taste has you wondering if it’s worth drinking, the health benefits will.


 


 

List of Ingredients you’ll need: 

coconut milk
 
filtered water
 
turmeric
 
cinnamon sticks
 
raw unfiltered honey
 
grated ginger
 

List of Supplies you’ll need: 

Stainless Steel saucepan
 
Stainless or silicon spatula
 
Cheesecloth
 
Grater

Ingredients

7 oz Coconut Milk: Buy Here
 
1 tbsp Turmeric (Organic) Buy Here
 
1 tsp Cinnamon Organic Buy Here
 
1 tsp Raw Unfiltered Honey Buy Here
 
8 oz Filtered Water Always filter your water
 
1 pinch Grated Ginger Organic

Instructions
 

STEP 1 :

In a stainless steel saucepan, pour in the coconut milk and water. Add spices, grated ginger and stir with a whisk.
 

STEP 2 :

Infuse over low heat for about ten minutes.
 

STEP 3:

Filter the milk through a cheesecloth, add honey and serve it warm
