One question often asked is "Can I eat eggs on the PhazeMoldDiet?" ..... Yes if:
You are not allergic to them
ONLY if the eggs are from "pasture -raised" chickens OR from "heirloom" chickens.
The number of hard-boiled eggs I've cooked in a lifetime has to be nearing the millions, well maybe an exaggeration, but eggs were always a part of my diet all my life. Eggs can trigger allergies in some and eggs can also contain mold if they come from chickens that are unhealthy. You can read my article HERE on the details about eating "only pasture raised" eggs from chickens on the mold diet.
The trick to "PERFECT" hard-boiled eggs every single time
When you are hard-boiling eggs there is only two things you need to remember:
COLD START
HOT START
Never start boiling your eggs in cold water.
ALWAYS boil your eggs only "after" your water becomes hot and a full boil.
It's that simple.
KITCHEN ITEMS YOU'LL NEED
Stovetop (electric or gas)
INGREDIENTS
2 cups Filtered water for every 6 eggs
Pasture-Raised Eggs only (As many as you need or are going to use)
INSTRUCTIONS
Turn stovetop on medium to high heat
Place Stainless Steel saucepan on burner
Pour water into the saucepan and boil for approximately 6-8 minutes until you see bubbles.
Using a spoon, slowly lower each egg into the boiling water one at a time.
Boil eggs for exactly 15 minutes
Immediately drain the boiling water from the pot and leave the eggs in.
Rinse the eggs with cold water in the saucepan until the pan is cold to the touch.
Peel and rinse eggs.
Peeling should come off very easily (because you used the "hot start" method)
